GIFTED AND TALENTED ART PROGRAM



2010 - 2011  SCHOOL YEAR

T H Harris continues its community partnership this school year with projects with TEDx NOLA, the opening of the Living with Hurricanes - Katrina and Beyond at the Presbytere, and the Ogden Museum.

2009-2010 SCHOOL YEAR

T H Harris participated in several community partnerships with Techneaux 21s during the 2009-2010 school year, including the opening of the World War II Museum expansion, Jean Lafitte National Park and the Cabildo.

 

2008-2009 SCHOOL YEAR 

During the 2008-2009 school year, Harris worked with two local insitutions to create student centered products for their exhbibitions - The Presbytere and the World War II Museum.  Harris's faculty enthusiastic use of technology was also the focus of a district video.

 



 




In the spring of 2008, students from Ms. Dauterive's class researched New Orleans neighborhoods prior to Katrina, visited these neighborhoods in 2008, and then made videos.  Listed below are just a few of the students' videos
